Description
According to National Center for Education Statistics, approximately 1 in 13 children are affected by food allergies. Children at risk for anaphylaxis may be present in almost every classroom. An estimated 13% – 23% of children with food allergies experience reactions at school.
This course provides information about anaphylaxis, including what it is and the symptoms associated with it. This course also provides information on how to administer popular brands of epinephrine auto-injectors.
