An Abre Everywhere course that examines how individuals can set goals and achieve them. The course follows Bryce Carlson’s techniques used to accomplish his goal of rowing across the Atlantic in a record setting 38 days.
Description
Who is Bryce Carlson?
Bryce is an athlete who teaches science at The Seven Hills School in Cincinnati, Ohio. In June of 2018, he departed from St. Johns Newfoundland in Canada with the goal of rowing across the Atlantic without any support. He achieved that goal in record time: 38 days, 6 hours, and 49 minutes.
Abre Everywhere
Abre Everywhere is a series of courses that takes educator experiences that happen outside of the school day and turn them into lessons for a wide audience.
Objectives
Using Bryce’s experience as a model, this course will address:
- The process of goal setting
- The process of achieving a goal
