  • If there is an attempt, seek professional help right away, Call 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, go to nearest ER
  • Never leave someone who is suicidal alone§Ensure that there is no access to harmful objects
  • Promote positive emotional well-being
  • Offer opportunities to make positive connections with others
  • Pay attention to artwork and writings that show warning signs, then talk about it
  • Always talk privately about your concerns for their safety
  • No matter how minor, always take suicidal feelings, thoughts, and behaviors seriously
